Despite having some very difficult things happen to him and his family while Tom was young, Tom believes he is living a blessed life. Tom was born the 3rd of 9 fun and loving children.

His Mom and Dad were very loving and hard-working folks. They gave their children as good a life as a tomb-stone cutter could give. Tom served 5 years in the United States Navy.

Upon return from the military, Tom married the love of his life, Jill!

However, Tom struggled to feel purposeful, while he went from one job to another. Sure, there was a time he was “stuck” as a result of the abuse and losses.

At 46 Tom was given a great gift that changed the direction and quality of his life. When given this GREAT opportunity to ‘WORK ON HIMSELF’. Work, such as therapy to heal properly from the abuse and loss he had endured. For continued processing he has kept working with a life coach ever since.

From that moment, Tom knew that he wanted to assist folks (young and old) to achieve ‘getting unstuck’ earlier in their life, so that they could live a POWERFUL life. A life filled with higher self-esteem and a deeper belief in who they truly are.

Tom no longer wanted to focus on the negative parts of his past, nor have the mistaken believe that he wasn’t smart enough or good enough. He was ready and willing to focus on the good, leverage his natural talents and increase the quality of his life.

Tom became a Life Coach and then a public speaker. Since becoming certified as a life coach 14 years ago, he has assisted many in finding their POWER they once lost through traumatic experience, whether it be through physical, emotional, mental, or sexual abuse.

Utilizing and relying on concepts, techniques and strategies used in life coaching Tom has written “Your POWER Project” with great passion and intention of building up, and in some cases, finding again the power we were ALL born with, to live out our dreams. He feels gifted with getting his power back 14 years ago and is purposeful in ‘PAYING IT FORWARD’ in his coaching and speaking. Everyone deserves to live a POWERFUL Life!

~I have been married 32 years and never once thought it was a bad idea. I love being with Jill, especially on trips or even in their back yard “working” on their “work/passions”. I marvel about and always insist that “Jill is amazing”!

One of the happiest and greatest things I have ever been a part of is the birth, growth, and development of our amazing daughter Rozie! For her to wed a young man that I truly consider a son is a gift. I know it is impossible to truly express my gratitude!

Rozie & Danny have a BEAUTIFUL daughter, Hazel – now another on the way. A true love! WOW (I always say I could write forever about Rozie and all she has accomplished).

I am very much in love with my family! My father, brothers, sisters, and in-laws are some of my closest friends. Some of my closest friends are also like family too!

I love, love, love dogs! Teddy and Millie fill our lives with a loving and non-judgmental energy that I also take help empower others with.

Sports are very, very important to me, as well…more so playing than watching. The athletic experience/challenge has always filled me with joy…especially since decreasing the amount of judgment in my heart! I have run 10 marathons and look forward to being able to run another (with Rozie) after 2 back surgeries has slowed me down a bit! I LOVE dancing so very much!

I dance to all of my favorite songs;  whether it’s from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s all the way up to today! I love all the different types of music that fits the different moods we experience throughout a day or week! Rock n’ Roll, easy listening, dance music, blues, folk and more!

I am hooked on spending time with family and friends, TED Talks, pottery, gardening, woodworking and more! I always say:

“I am now living a POWERFUL life, the way we were ALL born to do”.
